Our honest take: if you have a printer, print them — it’s five minutes at home and saves a few at the pier. If you’re flying in the day before and don’t want to fuss with a hotel printer, skip it. The porters do this thousands of times a week and your bag will be fine.
How to attach and fold the tags
Virgin’s tags are the fold-and-loop kind (no plastic sleeve or stapler required). Fold along the printed lines so your cabin number shows, thread the thin end through your suitcase handle, and tuck it back through the slot so it locks on itself. Put one on every checked bag.
