VV is genuinely the best cruise line for plant-based eaters! Razzle Dazzle is vegetarian-forward with amazing creative dishes that even meat-lovers enjoy. But honestly, every restaurant has substantial veg/vegan options — not just a side salad thrown together as an afterthought. Pink Agave has incredible vegan Mexican dishes, Extra Virgin does amazing vegetable pastas, and The Galley always has vegan stations.

Don’t miss the sunrise yoga on the top deck! It’s a magical way to start the morning. The cycling classes are popular so book through the app. And the boxing ring is super fun even if you’ve never boxed before — they offer beginner classes.

Here’s my VV-specific packing list: 1) Red outfit for Scarlet Night (this is essential!). 2) Reef-safe sunscreen for Bimini. 3) Lanyard for your sailor wristband. 4) Light jacket — the AC inside is cold. 5) Comfortable shoes for port days. 6) Magnetic hooks for the cabin walls (they’re metal!). 7) A portable charger. 8) Wine if you want it — they allow one bottle per person.

So jealous! Did Resilient Lady have all the same restaurants as the Caribbean ships? And was there a Beach Club equivalent stop or just regular ports?

My tip: tender early to get good free beach chairs. The first tender usually goes around 9-10 AM and you can snag chairs right near the water. Spend the money you save on frozen cocktails instead!

Make sure to explore the whole ship on day one while everyone else is at the sail-away party. You’ll find all the hidden spots and won’t feel lost later. Also the Thermal Suite day pass is 100% worth it if you enjoy spa stuff. Have an amazing time!

Aft all the way! The wake views from an aft terrace are mesmerizing. I could sit in the hammock and watch the ship’s wake for hours. Yes, you feel slightly more motion but on a Caribbean itinerary it’s rarely an issue. The trade-off is 100% worth it for the views.
