I’m thinking about booking a solo trip on Virgin Voyages. I’m a 34-year-old guy who loves good food, music, and nightlife. Has anyone sailed solo on VV? Is it easy to meet people? Are there any solo-friendly activities or meetups onboard?

I did my first solo VV cruise last year and it was incredible. The vibe on VV ships makes it really easy to meet people. Gunbae (Korean BBQ) has communal seating so you naturally end up chatting with other sailors. The Manor nightclub is also great for mingling. I made friends on night one that I hung out with the whole voyage.

VV is probably the best cruise line for solo travelers. The adults-only atmosphere means everyone is there to have fun. There are usually informal solo meetups that pop up through the app or at the bars. The Dock and the pool deck bar are great spots to strike up conversations.
