Booking a Sea Terrace on Scarlet Lady and can’t decide between a mid-ship cabin on Deck 10 or an aft cabin on Deck 12. I’ve heard mid-ship is less motion but aft has better views. What do you all recommend?

I’ve stayed in both and honestly prefer mid-ship. Less motion during rough seas makes a real difference, especially if you’re sensitive to movement. The views from a mid-ship Sea Terrace are still gorgeous — you’ll see the ocean perfectly from your hammock.

Aft all the way! The wake views from an aft terrace are mesmerizing. I could sit in the hammock and watch the ship’s wake for hours. Yes, you feel slightly more motion but on a Caribbean itinerary it’s rarely an issue. The trade-off is 100% worth it for the views.

One thing to consider: aft cabins can be noisier because of the engines and The Wake restaurant above. Mid-ship Deck 10-11 is the sweet spot for most people — close to elevators, less noise, minimal motion. But if views are your priority, aft is magical.
