My wife has a serious gluten allergy and we’re a bit nervous about cruising because of it. But we keep hearing that Virgin Voyages is really good with dietary restrictions.
Specifically wondering:
• How does the allergy notification process work? Do you flag it in the app?
• Were the chefs accommodating at every restaurant or just some?
• Any restaurants that were especially great (or terrible) for allergies?
• How was the food quality for the modified dishes? Some cruise lines just give you a sad plain chicken breast.
We really want to enjoy the dining experience without stress. Anyone with allergies or dietary needs — how was your VV experience?
