We’re debating upgrading from Sea Terrace to a Cheeky Corner Suite (RockStar Quarters) for our anniversary cruise. The price jump is significant. Is the RockStar experience really worth the extra cost? What perks actually make a difference?
As my username suggests, I’m biased — but YES. The RockStar perks that make the biggest difference: 1) Richard’s Rooftop is a gorgeous exclusive sundeck with its own bar and hot tub — way less crowded than the main pool. 2) The included premium Bar Tab saves you $300+. 3) Priority embarkation and tendering saves time. 4) Thermal Suite pass is included (worth $100+). For an anniversary, it makes the trip feel truly special.
I’ve done both Sea Terrace and RockStar. If you add up the perks individually (Bar Tab, Thermal Suite, better cabin location), the price gap shrinks significantly. For a special occasion I’d say go for it. For a regular vacation, Sea Terrace is the sweet spot and you won’t feel like you’re missing out on the core VV experience.
