Last Updated: May 4, 2026 — Refreshed with the latest cabana pricing tiers, the new Bimini Beach Club Day Pass for non-VV sailors, ship rotation through the 2026 season including Brilliant Lady, and a fresh FAQ.
The Beach Club at Bimini is Virgin Voyages’ private beach destination on the western shore of North Bimini in the Bahamas — a complimentary stop on most Caribbean voyages out of Miami featuring an Ibiza-style DJ pool, a complimentary BBQ and taco lunch, a long stretch of white-sand beach, and optional rentable cabanas and beach beds. In 2026 it remains the signature port-day experience on Scarlet Lady’s 4- and 5-night Caribbean itineraries, with Resilient Lady calling on select repositioning sailings and a new public Day Pass option for non-sailors visiting from Bimini.

What Is The Beach Club at Bimini?
The Beach Club at Bimini is Virgin Voyages’ exclusive private beach destination on the island of Bimini in the Bahamas, and it’s one of the most talked-about experiences in cruising. Unlike the private islands operated by other cruise lines, The Beach Club was designed with the VV ethos in mind — think Ibiza-meets-Bahamas with crystal-clear turquoise waters, world-class DJs, gorgeous infinity pools, and a party-meets-paradise atmosphere that’s unlike anything else at sea.
Located on the western shore of North Bimini, The Beach Club is included in most Caribbean itineraries out of Miami. Tender service brings you from the ship to the island, and the entire experience is complimentary — though premium cabana and daybed rentals are available for an upgrade.
What’s Included at The Beach Club
Your voyage fare covers access to the stunning white sand beach, the main swimming pool, beach chairs and loungers, complimentary food from the beachside eateries, and all the good vibes you can handle. The DJ-powered pool party is the main event for many sailors, with high-energy sets that start mid-morning and build throughout the afternoon.
Food at The Beach Club includes a BBQ station serving grilled items, a taco bar, fresh fruit stations, and various snack options. Drinks are available for purchase at several bars — the signature frozen cocktails are practically mandatory.
Cabanas, Beach Beds, and VIP Cabanas in 2026
The Beach Club offers several tiers of premium seating, all bookable in advance through the Virgin Voyages app once your reservation window opens (Sea Terrace and above unlock earlier access).
- Beach Beds — Padded daybeds near the shoreline. Best for two sailors who want comfort and a bit of shade without committing to a full cabana.
- Cabanas — Shaded, semi-private cabanas with seating for groups of four to six, a dedicated server, and a bottle of Champagne included.
- VIP Cabanas — Prime placement near the water with additional perks, larger group capacity, and the most private setup The Beach Club offers.
Pricing fluctuates by sailing date and demand — for current 2026 cabana pricing, eligibility windows, and our recommendation on which tier is worth the splurge, see our dedicated Virgin Voyages Beach Club Cabana Guide.
Are they worth it? For a special occasion or if you prefer guaranteed shade and service — absolutely. But even without a premium rental, you’ll have an incredible day. The free beach chairs are first-come, first-served, so tendering early gives you the best pick of spots.
New for 2026: The Bimini Beach Club Day Pass
The most significant 2026 change at The Beach Club is the new Bimini Beach Club Day Pass, which opens the venue to non-Virgin Voyages guests on select non-call days. If you’re already on Bimini (via fast-ferry, private boat, or a Bimini stay) but not sailing on a VV ship that day, the Day Pass gets you access to the beach, pool, food, and entertainment for a flat per-person fee.
For full Day Pass pricing, eligibility, what’s included vs. what costs extra, and whether it’s worth it compared to a full Virgin Voyages sailing, read our complete Bimini Beach Club Day Pass guide.
Which Virgin Voyages Ships Visit Bimini in 2026
The Beach Club is the anchor port on most Miami-departing itineraries. Through the 2026 season:
- Scarlet Lady — The primary ship visiting Bimini, with stops on virtually every 4- and 5-night Caribbean sailing from Miami’s Terminal V. If you book Scarlet Lady out of Miami, you’re almost certainly visiting The Beach Club.
- Resilient Lady — Visits Bimini on select repositioning sailings and shorter Caribbean routes. Resilient Lady’s main 2026 deployment is Mediterranean and Greek Isles, so Bimini calls are limited.
- Valiant Lady — Returns from her dry dock refit on May 25, 2026 and primarily sails Mediterranean from Barcelona for summer, then returns to Brooklyn for the late season; Bimini calls are minimal.
- Brilliant Lady — The newest ship in the fleet (LA MerMaiden launched April 7, 2026) is sailing the West Coast and Alaska through 2026, so she does not visit Bimini this year.
Translation: if Bimini is on your must-do list, book a Scarlet Lady itinerary out of Miami.
Tips for the Perfect Beach Club Day
Tender early. The first tender typically begins around 9–10 AM. Be in the queue at the tender lounge by 8:30 AM if you want first pick of complimentary chairs. Sailors with cabanas/beach beds get priority tendering, which is one of the smaller-but-real perks of paying for a reserved spot.
Bring reef-safe sunscreen. The Bahamas requires reef-safe sunscreen at marine-protected sites and the Bahamian sun is intense — bring a mineral (zinc oxide / titanium dioxide) sunscreen and reapply every 90 minutes.
Walk the beach. If you want a mellower experience, walk right along the beach away from the DJ pool area — you’ll find quieter stretches of sand. The water is shallow and warm, perfect for wading.
Stay for sunset if your sailing allows. Bimini sunsets are legendary, and on the longer port days the view from the western shore is unbeatable.
Use your Sailor Band. No need for cash or a card on the island — your wristband works for every purchase. Set spending limits in the VV app before you go ashore if you’re trying to be careful.
What to Know Before You Go
The Beach Club operates weather permitting, and occasionally tender operations can be affected by rough seas. If weather cancels the stop, Virgin Voyages typically adjusts the itinerary. Bring your Sailor ID band — it works for all purchases on the island. Water shoes aren’t necessary but can be helpful for rocky spots near the edges of the beach. And while the party vibe is the headline, there’s genuinely beautiful natural scenery here too — Bimini’s waters are some of the clearest in the Caribbean.
