Room Service on Virgin Voyages

Virgin Voyages takes a slightly different approach to room service than traditional cruise lines. Instead of a standard room service menu delivered to your cabin on a tray, VV has “Shake for Champagne” — press the champagne button on the ship’s app and a bottle of Moet shows up at your door. That is a paid extra, but it is a fun touch.

For actual food delivery to your cabin, the options are more limited than on traditional cruise lines. You can order from The Galley and have items brought to your room, though the menu is smaller than what is available in the venue itself. There is a delivery fee for cabin food orders.

Late Night Dining Options

This is where Virgin Voyages shines. Late-night food is abundant and mostly free. The Pizza Place stays open late and serves excellent pizza well past midnight — this becomes the unofficial gathering spot after shows and parties.

The Galley often has late-night stations open with comfort food options. On Scarlet Night and other big event evenings, expect special late-night bites to appear around the ship.

The Social Club, while primarily a gaming and hangout space, also serves food during late hours. And if you are in a RockStar suite, you get access to Richard’s Rooftop which has its own food and drink service.

Best Late Night Strategy

The savvy move is to hit The Pizza Place after the evening entertainment. Grab a couple of slices, find a spot on the pool deck under the stars, and enjoy one of those perfect cruise moments. For something more substantial, check The Galley between 10 PM and midnight — the late-night menu usually includes hearty options like burgers, noodles, and comfort food classics.
