    I’m seeing slightly different pricing on the VV website vs what a travel advisor quoted me. Is there an advantage to using a travel advisor for VV bookings? Does it cost more? Do you get different perks?

    Using a travel advisor for VV is almost always the smart move. A good travel advisor (like Pixie Vacations) costs you nothing extra — they’re paid commission by VV, not by you. But they can often get you extras like onboard credit, group rates, or stacked promotions that aren’t available when booking direct. Plus you get a real human to call if something goes wrong.

    I switched to booking through a travel advisor after my second VV cruise and kicked myself for not doing it sooner. Same price or better, but I got $100 onboard credit and my advisor handled everything — cabin selection advice, dining reservation tips, excursion recommendations. It’s genuinely a better experience.

    One big advantage of a travel advisor: if VV drops the price after you book, a good advisor will catch it and get you the lower price or added perks. When booking direct, you have to monitor prices yourself and call to request adjustments. An advisor does that work for you automatically.
