Trying to pick the perfect Sea Terrace cabin for our next voyage. What deck do you all recommend? And forward, mid-ship, or aft? I’ve heard conflicting advice and want to make the best choice.
Deck 10 or 11, mid-ship is the consensus best spot. Minimal motion, close to elevators, and away from any venue noise above or below. Deck 10 mid-ship is sometimes called the ‘sweet spot’ because it’s perfectly centered on the ship. You’ll feel the least motion there during rough seas.
If you care more about views than motion, higher decks (12-14) give you a better vantage point. I personally love a high aft cabin — watching the wake from Deck 13 or 14 is mesmerizing. The slight extra motion is a worthwhile trade-off for the view.
One tip: avoid cabins directly below the pool deck (Deck 16) or above the theater (Deck 5-6 area). Noise from above and below can occasionally be an issue. The VV app and deck plans on the website let you see exactly what’s above and below each cabin.
