We have a Key West stop on our Fiery & Flirty itinerary. Only a few hours in port. What’s worth doing? Walk around Duval Street? Excursion? Hemingway House? Help us prioritize!
Key West is super walkable from the port so you don’t need an excursion. My recommended route: Walk Duval Street, stop at Hemingway House (the cats are worth it alone), hit Mallory Square, grab lunch at a local spot, and get some key lime pie. If you’re into water activities, a snorkel trip to the reef is also great but takes more time.
Don’t try to do too much — Key West is best enjoyed slowly. Pick 2-3 things and just wander. The Hemingway House and a walk down Duval Street with a stop at Sloppy Joe’s is a classic combo. Save time for a frozen drink at one of the waterfront bars.
